The chest was made by Stork Line Furniture.  I beleve the wood to be maple.  The top has been refinished and stained.  The base has been painted.  The cabinet on the side has a pull out rack for hangers.  There are 4 total drawers.  The bottom drawer appears to be two, but it is a double drawer.
