Discover The Hampstead Farmers Market

Every Saturday from June through September, the Hampstead Farmers Market turns the Pantherplex grounds into a lively celebration of community, fresh food, art, and local pride. Held from 8:30 AM to 12 PM at 1400 Panther Drive, this market brings together neighbors, farmers, artisans, and musicians for a spirited weekend ritual

A Rich Community Tradition

Originally launched in June 2010 in partnership with the Town of Hampstead and the Volunteer Fire Department, this grassroots initiative was driven by local volunteers Sharon Callahan and Marlene Duff. Over its first ten years, the market blossomed into one of the region’s most popular, hosting more than 35,000 visitors in a single season. In 2021, it found a permanent home at the Coppermine Pantherplex, continuing to grow and bring joy to the community.

Seasonal Offerings & Local Flavors

Expect plenty of fresh, locally grown produce from some 25–40 vendors each week. From organic veggies and seasonal fruits to free-range eggs, artisan cheese, honey, and roasted coffee, there’s something for every taste and preference. The market also features freshly baked bread, jams and jellies, salsas, marinated olives, floral bouquets, handmade soap, crafts, and even BBQ crab and snow cones.

More Than a Market

Sellout breakfasts, live music, and family-friendly events elevate this from a simple market to a community gathering. Enjoy breakfast or lunch from vendors supporting local nonprofits, while live bands play from 9:00 AM to noon . Special events like free face painting, magic shows, and youth vendor day make each visit unique and fun for all ages.

Inclusive, Accessible, Welcoming

There’s no entry fee, plenty of free parking, and full ADA accessibility. While pets aren’t allowed (except service animals), families and visitors of all ages are warmly welcomed to indulge in the vibrant atmosphere each weekend.

What It Means for Us

As regular vendors at the Hampstead Farmers Market, we’re proud to contribute handmade products like hand-poured soy candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, stained glass, and more under the Holly Oak brand. The market isn’t just a venue—it’s an opportunity to connect face-to-face with the people who use and love our creations.
