I have always been interested in antiques.  When I decided to open this business, I decided that in addition to selling antiques and painted furniture, I wanted it to be so much more.  I learned how to make stained glass.  Sales took off and then the candle aspect was introduced.  So. my business model really became selling items that appealed to everyone.  From there, I branched off into some other items that although are imported, they are still handmade and have a story behind them.  Take for instance the witch balls.  They go back to the early days when Europeans were coming to this country.  It was believed the color of the glass ball attracted evil spirits.  The web inside of the glass ball would trap the spirit preventing it from getting into their homes.  You can still these today in New England hanging in front of homes today.  So, that is my story.  It is all about fun.  When you do things you love, there is no work involved!
